Family Law Mediator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Law Mediator to join our team at Allstaff Recruitment. As a Family Law Mediator, you will work with couples and families to resolve financial and childcare-related disputes in a collaborative and amicable manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess couples' suitability for joint representation and provide legal advice to facilitate discussions.
  • Obtain and collate relevant financial and other evidence, as well as client reports.
  • Work with experts to obtain reports and provide a structured approach to dispute resolution.
  • Develop and implement effective mediation strategies to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in private family law and collaborative law.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of the legal market.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commercially minded and forward-thinking with a focus on work-life balance.
