Position Overview

Stanmore House Surgery is dedicated to delivering outstanding healthcare services to our community. We are looking for a skilled and proactive Clinical Nurse Leader to guide our nursing team in maintaining high standards of patient care.

This role will be integral to our practice, located in Kidderminster, where you will oversee daily nursing operations and ensure a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in a primary care environment. While prior experience is preferred, we welcome applications from those who can demonstrate relevant competencies. Essential duties include:

  • Performing practice nurse responsibilities such as wound care, childhood immunizations, women's health, and general patient care.
  • Engaging in long-term condition management, particularly in diabetes and respiratory care.
  • Supervising nursing staff and managing daily operations to ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Providing health education and counseling to patients and their families.

The successful candidate will need to be a qualified nurse with current NMC registration and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Our practice is committed to supporting continuous training and skill enhancement.

About Our Practice

Stanmore House Surgery is a welcoming, patient-centered facility in Kidderminster, comprising a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including GPs, nurses, and administrative staff. Qualifications and Skills Required

Applicants must hold a Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC registration and should ideally be a Non-Medical Prescriber. Previous experience in a primary care setting is highly desirable, along with:

  • Knowledge of general practice nursing procedures.
  • Competency in patient assessments and managing common health conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and task prioritization.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.

Working Conditions
