About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, providing person-centred care and support to our residents, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of care staff and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents.
  • Administer and order medication, review and update resident care plans, and liaise with GP's, district nursing teams, and resident family members.
  • Support the development of care staff through training and supervision.

About You

We are looking for an individual with a passion for delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. You will have a strong background in care and experience in a residential care setting, with a proven track record of leading a team and making appropriate decisions to support the needs and wellbeing of our residents.
