Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically adept Sales Engineer to join our growing team at Mansell Recruitment Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and exceeding sales targets for our portfolio of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and qualify new leads within the assigned territory, identifying potential customers in both within the industrial machine tool sector and in other related applications.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand customer challenges and recommend solutions that optimise safety and machine performance.
  • Provide technical support to customers throughout the sales cycle, including pre-sales consultations, product demonstrations, and post-sale implementation.
  • Negotiate contracts and/or pricing to secure profitable sales agreements.
  • Track sales opportunities, manage proposals, and generate accurate sales reports.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers and attend industry events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the industrial machinery or manufacturing sector.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical sales environment.
  • In-depth understanding of industrial machine tools, their safety protocols, and common operational challenges.
  • Ability to translate technical information into clear and concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel.
