As a Technical Sales Professional, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and exceeding sales targets for our portfolio of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify new leads within the assigned territory, identifying potential customers in both within the industrial machine tool sector and in other related applications.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand customer challenges and recommend solutions that optimise safety and machine performance.
- Provide technical support to customers throughout the sales cycle, including pre-sales consultations, product demonstrations, and post-sale implementation.
- Negotiate contracts and/or pricing to secure profitable sales agreements.
- Track sales opportunities, manage proposals, and generate accurate sales reports.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers and attend industry events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the industrial machinery or manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical sales environment.
- In-depth understanding of industrial machine tools, their safety protocols, and common operational challenges.
- Ability to translate technical information into clear and concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Valid driver's license and a willingness to travel.
