We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Norwich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing assessment and goal-focussed interventions to young people experiencing difficulties with their mental health.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to young people and their families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychology, occupational health, social work, and mental health nursing
- Participate in the Duty Clinician rota for urgent response and have a caseload of young people requiring ongoing support
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, families, and community partners
- Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip OT, Clinical Psychology, or equivalent
- Mentorship qualification or ENB 998, with willingness to train as a Sign-off Mentor
- Good to great management course or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience in working with children and young people, with a focus on mental health practice
- Ability to travel
