Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Officer to join our team at Reed Accountancy and Finance. As a key member of our small finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Management Accountant and contributing to the smooth operation of our financial functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transactional duties, including processing payments and receipts, and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Bank reconciliations and cashbook management
  • Reporting to the Management Accountant and providing financial insights to inform business decisions
  • Other duties as directed by the Management Accountant

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a financial administration role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Familiarity with Sage 200 and other financial software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a small team
  • AAT studying or equivalent qualification
