About the Role
Nursery Administrator Job Summary
Tops Day Nurseries is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Nursery Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our nursery staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the nursery team, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with parents and staff.
- Manage petty cash and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate shift bookings, create batch weeks, and ensure the manager is aware of appointments and diary/calendar events.
- Communicate with parents to collect outstanding payments and liaise with Head Office.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in an office environment.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft packages.
- Good customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Experience with petty cash and financial record-keeping.
