Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and management to the nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to Trust policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes, staff engagement, and team performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Manage and allocate resources, including staff, equipment, and budget, to optimize ward operations.
- Conduct regular performance appraisals, provide feedback, and support staff development and growth.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Trust policies, and professional standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and benchmarking activities to drive excellence in patient care.
- Current NMC Part 1 (Child) registration.
- Proven leadership and management experience in a paediatric nursing setting.
- Recognized teaching or mentoring qualification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
