Opportunity for Growth: Apprentice Deck Rating (Tug)

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Deck Rating (Tug). This unique opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in the maritime industry, combined with comprehensive training at the National Maritime Training Centre. You will gain valuable skills in deck operations, watchkeeping, and vessel maintenance while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform essential deck department duties on board our vessels.
  • Participate in watchkeeping duties at sea, ensuring the safe navigation of our vessels.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized working environment through housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
  • Operate and maintain various vessel equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Comply with all relevant maritime regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK passport.
  • Possess an ENG1 Unrestricted Medical Certificate.
  • Have a minimum of four GCSEs at grade C or above.
