Pulse is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis at their Wokingham facility.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and other technical writers to create high-quality documentation for system design, equipment testing, operation, qualification, installation, and commissioning. They will be responsible for establishing the core content of key project documents and ensuring consistency in style and formatting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Standardize and maintain documentation across the organization
  • Create a comprehensive documentation library
  • Develop instructional documents on various topics
  • Collaborate with engineers to gather information and create accurate documentation
  • Maintain a consistent style and formatting defined by detailed templates
  • Escalate issues and questions promptly and clearly
  • Support project managers in maintaining up-to-date documentation schedules
  • Generate documents from bullet-point lists provided by team members
  • Summarize high-level technical information to create accurate installation reports
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in report or technical writing
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with technical writing and ability to capture information quickly
  • Proficient in English grammar - reading and writing
  • Able to interact with multiple teams simultaneously
