Duties & Responsibilities

  • Standardize documentation to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Create a comprehensive documentation library that meets the needs of the team.
  • Compose instructional documents on various topics, working closely with engineers to capture key information.
  • Maintain a consistent style and formatting defined by detailed templates.
  • Promptly escalate issues and questions verbally and/or via email during documentation drafting.
  • Support project managers in maintaining up-to-date documentation schedules.
  • Work from bullet-point lists provided by team members to generate coherent documents.
  • Accurately describe technical information, such as diagrams, to create clear installation or operation manuals.
  • Summarize information generated by installation teams to create representative installation reports.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of report/technical writing experience.
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with technical writing to quickly capture information with notes, recordings, and photographs.
  • Proficient in English grammar - reading and writing.
  • Able to interact with multiple teams simultaneously.
