Job Summary:

Oval Recruit is seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our team in the Wakefield area. As a Paraplanner, you will provide technical support to our team of Advisors, working on diverse and interesting projects that require research, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to produce high-quality reports that meet client requirements and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of investment and pension products, including their features, benefits, and risks.
  • Collaborate with Advisors to create tailored financial planning solutions for clients, including writing financial planning reports and presenting findings to clients.
  • Review clients' existing arrangements, gather information, and serve as a point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Work on complex cases, producing extensive reports and commentary notes for discussion and presentation to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial planning, applying this knowledge to improve our services and solutions.
  • Manage your workload effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner, with a strong understanding of investment and pension products.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial planning concepts, including tax planning, estate planning, and inheritance tax.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Diploma qualification in a relevant field, such as financial planning or a related discipline.
