**About the Role**

Ortus PSR is seeking a skilled Paraplanning Professional to join our team in the Paraplanning Department. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Financial Planners to provide high-quality client suitability reports and support the production of compliant client files.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with Financial Planners to formulate advice and ensure client files remain compliant.
  • Produce competent suitability reports and complete annual suitability review letters for clients.
  • Assist the Paraplanning Supervisor and Investment Committee with maintaining centrally held research for the firm's Central Investment Proposition.
  • Maintain accurate information within the firm's Client Management System.

**Specific Tasks**

  • Act as a point of contact within the office for nominated Financial Planners, ensuring that their cases are logged within the team and providing regular updates on the stage each case is at.
  • Prepare and maintain client files, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
  • Prepare compliant suitability reports, taking into account the client's individual needs and circumstances.
  • Complete annual suitability review letters in a timely and accurate manner, raising any potential queries with the Financial Planner(s).
  • Conduct research on ad-hoc withdrawals of plans to assess suitability and provide recommendations to the Financial Planners.

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, you will have experience in Paraplanning and crafting suitability reports for Pensions and Investments. You will be a strong communicator and team player, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
