Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Retail Fraud Assistant to play a pivotal role in executing the TfW revenue protection strategy. This position involves compiling investigative work packages and providing support for investigations, including the preparation of prosecution case files when necessary. The role will also encompass broader revenue protection activities and interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, alongside offering administrative assistance to the team.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyzing data from scans to identify patterns in digital fraud, aimed at minimizing risks to the organization.
  • Preparing evidence collections from scan data for each offender.
  • Designing and maintaining customized communication templates for various workstreams.
  • Compiling and updating records that document all interactions with offenders and the current status of each case, ensuring compliance with GDPR.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Highly analytical and numerically adept.

Welsh Language Proficiency

While the ability to communicate in Welsh is advantageous, it is not a requirement for this position. Transport for Wales actively promotes the use of the Welsh Language among its employees and encourages them to enhance their Welsh language skills.
