About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Financial Operations to join our team at Travel Chapter. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for delivering scalable finance operations that cover key transactional processes, including Purchase to Pay (P2P).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement best-in-class finance operations processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective transaction processing.
  • Provide a best-in-class finance operations service to finance stakeholders and other business-wide stakeholders through regularly monitored Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement and maintain accounts payable policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Review and improve end-to-end process maps to increase efficiency in transaction processing.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure the performance of key transactional processes and P2P financial metrics.
  • Agree and track SLAs with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and other key business stakeholders.
  • Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables to the Finance Director.
  • Lead a scalable and lean Finance Operations team using efficient processes and automation to ensure best-in-class service while maintaining a sufficient but low growth cost base.
  • Work on continuous improvements and other finance projects as required.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of best-in-class Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes and delivery frameworks.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on driving a high-quality and on-time delivery mindset.
  • KPI and target focus with the ability to instill urgency within the team to resolve issues and grab opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across functions, not only within finance but across the business.
  • Experience delivering in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using data and KPI dashboards to understand what is performing well, what isn't, and why, and make recommendations for change.
  • Experience of root cause analysis and resolution.
