Job Description

Event Crowd Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Event Crowd Safety Manager to join our team at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - LLDC. As a key member of our event day safety team, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and enjoyable events for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the London Stadium Safety Officer and the event day Crowd Safety Team to ensure the delivery of safe and enjoyable events in accordance with the Spectator Safety Policy, relevant legislation, and the venue safety certificate.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the team, enhancing the customer experience for our guests.
  • Develop and implement effective crowd safety strategies to mitigate risks and ensure a safe environment for all attendees.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless event experience.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential safety concerns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including event organizers, suppliers, and emergency services.
Requirements
  • Hold a Level 3 in Spectator Safety or above.
  • Hold a SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • Proven experience of leading large teams in a similar venue.
  • Demonstrable history of mentoring and developing supervisors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
