Job Description

Role Overview

ECS Automotive | Setting the Standard is seeking a highly skilled Warranty Material Digital Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in facilitating warranty services to our retailer network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts to ensure manufacturing defects are identified and rectification work is carried out correctly.
  • Verify identification codes and record them accurately.
  • Ensure adherence to published policies.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Desktop evaluation of warranty claims for financial and technical accuracy.
  • Monitor and report claiming behaviors to identify trends.
  • Engage with the dealer network through various communication methods.
  • Support Authorized Repairers in adopting optimal behaviors.
  • Accurate updating of records and databases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and management to achieve K.P.I's.

Requirements

  • Motor vehicle technical knowledge.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures linked to warranty and campaign repairs.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and web-based products).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to targets and K.P.I's.

Desirable Requirements

  • Automotive warranty specific experience at Dealer/Manufacturer level.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
  • Manufacturer/Dealer Aftersales experience.
  • Motor industry specific qualifications (technical).
  • Previous automotive mechanical repairer experience.
