About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Warranty Material Digital Inspector to join our team at ECS Automotive | Setting the Standard. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in facilitating warranty services to our retailer network on behalf of Volkswagen Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspection of Parts: Ensure that manufacturing defects can be identified and rectification work is carried out correctly through digital review.
  • Identification and Recording: Verify identification codes and record them accurately.
  • Policy Adherence: Confirm adherence to published policies.
Future Developments
  • Desktop Evaluation: Evaluate warranty claims for financial and technical accuracy, repair quality, and adherence to published policies.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Identify trends and behaviors in claiming and report to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with the dealer network through various communication methods to resolve queries and problems.
  • Support and Training: Support Authorized Repairers to adopt optimal behaviors and provide training as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately update records and databases.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders and management to ensure KPIs are understood and achieved.
Requirements
  • Motor Vehicle Knowledge: Possess technical knowledge of motor vehicles.

Desirable Requirements
  • Automotive Experience: Previous experience in automotive warranty or aftersales.

  • Manufacturer/Dealer Experience: Experience working with manufacturers or dealerships.
  • Motor Industry Qualifications: Possess motor industry-specific qualifications.
  • Previous Repairer Experience: Previous experience as an automotive mechanical repairer.
