Internal Audit Manager

Forseven, a pioneering company in the EV industry, is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our dynamic Finance team. This role will report to the Financial Controller and be based in our office in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit program tailored to the company's objectives, risks, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of operational, financial, and compliance risk and deficiency, providing strategic recommendations for mitigations.
- Plan, execute, and manage internal audit engagements, including evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and the audit committee, facilitating informed decision-making and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations, tracking progress and providing guidance to ensure timely and effective resolution of identified issues.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments within the automotive sector, proactively advising on potential impacts and opportunities for enhancement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the Legal & Corporate Affairs function.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and chartered accountant qualified (CA/ACCA).
- Broad experience working for a Big 4 accounting firm with a deep understanding of auditing standards, methodologies, and practices including the ICFR control framework.
- Subsequent experience in internal audit, risk management, or related fields within an automotive or technology industry, with a strong understanding of sector regulatory requirements.
- Proven expertise in conducting risk assessments, designing internal control frameworks, and implementing audit programmes in complex, multinational organisations.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights to drive business performance.
