Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has emerged within the Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust for a committed and enthusiastic clinical pharmacy technician to become part of our esteemed team of specialized technicians and pharmacists, dedicated to delivering superior clinical pharmacy services.

Our Pharmacy Services are held in high regard, and our personnel collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams. We prioritize the provision of support and training to foster your professional growth and development. If you aspire to contribute to a successful, welcoming, and high-profile service, where the primary focus is on ensuring optimal patient care, this role may be ideal for you.

  • Conducting regular medicines reconciliations.
  • Assessing the suitability of patients' medications for reuse.
  • Ordering medications for patients.
  • Collaborating with ward staff to ensure patients receive comprehensive information regarding their medications.

Additionally, there is potential to engage in the advancement of our Pharmacy Technician services to Home Treatment Teams and to influence the delivery of this service.

Applicants should demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team, exhibit proactivity, and possess a genuine interest in mental health. Candidates must be registered practicing pharmacy technicians with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). This full-time position is based at a designated site, with working hours from Monday to Friday; part-time and flexible working arrangements may be considered.
