About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist/Database Developer to join our dynamic team at Business Consultants Group. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in enhancing our firm's efficiency by automating internal processes and integrating various systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automation Development: Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline internal processes, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • System Integration: Integrate with systems like CRM and billing systems to ensure efficient data exchange and functionality.
  • Cloud Management: Use Microsoft Azure for developing and deploying automation workflows and managing cloud resources efficiently.
  • Application Development: Develop and maintain custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Database Management: Connect to and query, insert, and modify data to perform automation and integration.
  • File System and Server Management: Implement and connect to file systems to assist with process automation, ensuring high availability and security.
  • Process Automation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation processes and technical configurations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT staff and departments to identify automation opportunities.
  • Project Management: Provide regular progress reports on automation project(s).
About You
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience with robotic process automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath).
  • Skills: Proficiency in developing applications with Microsoft Power Apps, strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Database, and experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or similar.
  • Business Analysis: Ability to analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure or RPA tools are desirable.
