Automation Engineering Lead

We are currently seeking a skilled Automation Engineering Lead to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in driving our automation projects and will report directly to the Technical Services Manager. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

· Conducting Pre-Contract Site Assessments

· Selecting and Acquiring Equipment

· Developing control system documentation such as FDS, SDS, FAT, and SAT

· Preparing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Site Progress Reports, and other necessary documentation

· Configuring and programming various PLC, HMI, SCADA, and telemetry systems, including:

· Siemens (S7, WinCC, etc.)

· Allen Bradley (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, SLC, Panelview, etc.)

· Schneider (M340, Magelis, Talus4e, Intouch, ClearSCADA, etc.)

· Mitsubishi (A, FX, and Q range, Mitsubishi HMIs)

· Familiarity with telemetry outstations such as Serck PX24, Schneider Talus T4e, and Seprol S2000 is advantageous but not mandatory.

Required Skills and Experience:

· Proven experience as an Automation Engineer

· Strong client-facing abilities with excellent interpersonal skills

· Self-motivated and diligent work ethic

· Hands-on electrical skills/qualifications are a plus but not essential

· Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent experience

· Experience in onsite troubleshooting and modification of Electrical Control Systems is desirable but not essential.
