Mid-Level Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Automation Specialist to join our team at AVASK ACCOUNTING & BUSINESS CONSULTANTS. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in enhancing our firm's efficiency by automating internal processes and integrating various systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline internal processes.
  • Use Microsoft Azure for developing and deploying automation workflows and managing cloud resources efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps to achieve automation and integration objectives.
  • Connect to and query, insert, and modify data to perform automation and integration. Create tables as required for optimal automation performance using SQL and maintain Microsoft SQL databases.
  • Implement and connect to file systems to assist with process automation while ensuring high availability and security.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation processes, integration procedures, and technical configurations.
  • Work closely with other IT staff and departments to identify automation opportunities and deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide regular progress reports on automation project(s).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with robotic process automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, etc).
  • Proficiency in developing applications with Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Database, including SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Familiarity with file system management, both onsite server and cloud storage.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#).
  • Ability to analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project goals.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
