Job Opportunity: Social Worker - Learning Disability

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Oban, Lorn and Isles Learning Disability Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessment and case management, working independently and as part of a small team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team, providing support to individuals with learning disabilities. The role will involve travel throughout the Oban, Lorn & Isles area, and the successful candidate will have a strong sense of professional identity and ability to work flexibly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and case management of individuals with learning disabilities
  • Working collaboratively with the team to provide support and services
  • Traveling throughout the Oban, Lorn & Isles area to meet with service users and stakeholders

Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with experience in learning disability services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
