Fund Raising Specialist

About the Role:
Mayford James is seeking a highly skilled Fund Raising Analyst to join our team. As a Fund Raising Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing fundraising processes, capital formation activities, and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Fundraising Processes: Assist in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies, including the creation of marketing materials, data room management, and prospect follow-ups.
- Capital Formation Activities: Draft legal documents, launch data rooms, and create marketing materials to support capital formation efforts.
- Investor Relations: Liaise with portfolio managers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to deliver materials, respond to requests for proposals, and manage prospect follow-ups.
- Fundraising Activity Management: Oversee fundraising activity across distribution channels, including private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds.
- Marketing and Communications: Update fund marketing materials, create prospect communications, and provide sales teams with necessary tools and resources.
- Research and Analysis: Perform quantitative analyses and research to support fundraising efforts.
- Platform Data Management: Manage platform data, track investment activity, and monitor performance across products.
Requirements:
- Education: Undergraduate degree in economics or finance.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as private equity, asset management, investment banking, or consulting.
- Skills: Excellent academic credentials, ability to multi-task, team-player attitude, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
