Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Zero Surplus. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling and securing profitable and sustainable content marketing services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development
    • Sell and secure profitable and sustainable content marketing services, including advertising, content, design, digital development, digital marketing, and media sales
    • Target, create and maintain a database of key contacts within specified target sectors and markets via CRM
  • Client Relationships
    • Create positive and collaborative working relationships with prospects
    • Play an active part in creating and delivering presentations and proposals, responding to tenders and preparing for pitches
  • Networking and Events
    • Attend networking events and exhibitions as well as client meetings
    • Represent the company and build relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience in media sales, agency sales, or selling to marketers
  • Extensive marketing/content experience/exposure
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with 60% of time spent in the office or out with clients
  • Comfortable selling in person and presenting
