Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Property Claims Handler to join our client's team. As a key member of the Property Claims Team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial property claims from inception to final conclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of circa 250 commercial property claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to direct customers and brokers, navigating them through the claims process.
  • Collaborate with the Property Claims Team Leader to develop and implement effective claims strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Participate in the development of a personalized career development plan, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in dealing with commercial property losses within an insurer environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as CII, are highly desirable.

What We Offer

A competitive basic salary up to £40,000, a 35-hour workweek, and hybrid working options. You will also benefit from a comprehensive benefits package, including annual performance-related bonus, 25 days' holiday, pension, and life assurance. Free parking is also available at this location.
