Senior Safeguarding Adults Nurse/Practitioner

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Clinical Coordinator to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care in our ophthalmology department.
Your primary responsibility will be to organize and manage patient appointments, ensuring that our clinics and theatres run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with medical staff, patients, and other departments to ensure that all necessary information is accurately recorded and communicated.
Key responsibilities include:
- Organizing theatre lists to ensure effective utilization and management of theatre capacity
- Undertaking telephone calls and queries to book appointments and manage patient communication
- Entering and updating accurate information on our IT systems in a timely manner
- Maintaining and managing waiting lists and clinics to support effective patient management
- Communicating effectively with patients, visitors, and other stakeholders through written, verbal, and face-to-face contact
