Key Responsibilities

The Lead Consultant in Psychotherapy is a pivotal role aimed at advancing the current Psychotherapy services across the CNWL Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). We seek a committed Psychotherapist who is enthusiastic about spearheading the development of therapeutic pathways for children, adolescents, and their families across multiple boroughs. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Therapy Leads, ensuring high standards of clinical governance and the quality of psychotherapy practices. This role also involves providing expert consultation on complex cases and contributing to the professional growth of colleagues.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must be registered Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists with the ACP and possess:

  • Advanced training in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Extensive experience in clinical practice with children and adolescents.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in managing psychotherapy teams.
  • Expertise in delivering culturally competent services.
