This is an exciting opportunity to work with a stable and well-established organisation based in the UK, assisting the Finance Manager with the implementation of their new finance system and supporting with the management accounts production, as well as the day-to-day finance operations.

This is an initially on a temporary basis, but there is potential for longer term contracts or permanency as the business is going through an exciting period of change. The ideal candidate will be tech savvy and have strong administration / attention to detail skills to ensure that all data is transferred correctly and accurately in a timely manner.

The Finance Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Supporting to design and create reports within the finance software
  • Overseeing postings and journal entries
  • Supporting to produce monthly management accounts, in conjunction with the Finance Manager
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting with month end duties including accruals, prepayments and journal posting
  • Ad-hoc requirements to support the team

This role offers hybrid working (once the initial training period is complete), as well as some great staff benefits. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive accounting experience - ideally part Qualified / Qualified or QBE
  • Experience of producing detailed financial reports
  • Strong IT and systems knowledge and experience
  • Previous experience of producing monthly management accounts

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the organisation.
