Biffa is seeking a dedicated and experienced Depot Manager to oversee our depot operations and support bases.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operations or logistics management within the waste industry or similar sector.
  • CPC Qualification demonstrating your expertise in road transport regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment with a strong focus on results.
  • Experience in people and health & safety management within a unionized setting, ensuring a safe and productive work environment for all.
  • Familiarity with environmental and health & safety regulations governing waste management operations.
  • Knowledge of the local area to optimize route planning and service delivery.
  • A proven track record in delivering continuous improvement initiatives in operational settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate your team.
  • Minimum GCSE in English and Maths, demonstrating a solid foundation in essential skills.
