We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our 3-bedded Children's Home in Bristol, providing holistic care and support to young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our service is collaborative, working closely with psychologists, occupational therapists, and other clinical team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptionally high standards in the management of the home, ensuring a safe, secure, and motivating environment for both staff and residents. You will have a proven track record of managing teams in a residential setting, with a minimum of two years' experience in children's services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each resident
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure seamless care and support
  • Manage the home's budget and resources to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in children's services, with a focus on residential care
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of managing teams in a residential setting
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
  • Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and stakeholders
  • Driving license preferred, but not essential
