We are in search of a dedicated professional who is passionate about joining our neuro rehabilitation team to provide specialized therapy for stroke patients, aiming to enhance their quality of life.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in physiotherapy, particularly in Stroke and/or Neuro settings, and will be stationed at our stroke units, managing a diverse caseload that includes various neurological conditions.

Support and mentorship will be provided by senior staff members, and successful candidates will engage with all aspects of the multidisciplinary team (MDT).

The successful applicant will be confident and experienced, demonstrating a commitment to actively engaging in all facets of the role. They should be prepared to take the lead on various initiatives within this dynamic and challenging area of physiotherapy. Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills are essential. Candidates must exhibit clear clinical reasoning and the ability to articulate their decisions and actions effectively. Additionally, evidence of ongoing professional development and recent learning is required.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

  • A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience
  • A diverse range of postgraduate experience in core areas within an acute setting
  • Experience in service development

Desirable

  • Experience supervising qualified staff, students, or unqualified personnel

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Essential

  • Evidence of CPD through internal and external training

Desirable

  • Evidence of teaching others
