In this role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding patients towards achieving their rehabilitation goals. You will lead a team of therapists and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient well-being and success.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert leadership to a team of therapists and support staff, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Drive continuous service improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices within the Intensive Rehabilitation Service.
  • Mentor and support junior therapists, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree/Master's in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC)
  • Relevant Postgraduate Qualification

Desirable Requirements:

  • Non-medical prescriber qualification
  • Leadership and Management training
  • Additional qualifications in community practice
Experience:

Essential Requirements:

  • Recent experience working within a community-based setting.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of care standards and appraisal systems.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in profiling community health needs.
  • A demonstrated innovative approach to care organization.
