Our client is recognized for their exceptional rehabilitation services, focusing on substance misuse and recovery within a supportive residential environment. Their mission is to provide outstanding care and assistance to clients on their recovery journey.
Preferred Qualifications:While not mandatory, it is advantageous for the Lead Nurse to have experience in:
- Administering vaccinations, including BBV screening and Hepatitis B/C screening
- Conducting ECGs
- Utilizing CIWA-AR / COWS assessment tools
- Facilitating alcohol and opiate detoxification
- Implementing health promotion and rehabilitation strategies
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) qualifications with relevant experience
- A demonstrated interest or experience in addiction nursing
- Desirable titration experience
- Current and valid NMC registration and legal eligibility to work in the UK
While experience in addiction nursing is not a strict requirement, candidates must showcase their interest in this field and illustrate how they have acquired relevant experience and transferable skills in Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services.
