Business Development Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Consultant to join our team at phs Group. As a Business Development Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to acquire new business from small to medium-sized customers across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic plan to win new business from new small to medium-sized customers across multiple industries in your territory
  • Conduct market research, cold calling, and make appointments with new customers to build relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Represent phs Group with new customers at the appropriate level, ensuring a positive and professional experience
  • Focus on the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of sales activity, rather than just the quantity
  • Use our CRM system to effectively record, manage, and develop opportunities

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering against new business growth targets
  • Proven track record in a strategic hunter sales role
  • High energy and pace, with the ability to thrive in a high-pressure sales environment
  • Resilient and tenacious approach to winning new business
  • High professional and personal standards, with the ability to challenge and constructively criticize
  • A valid UK driving license and a security check or willingness to obtain one

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £34,312.00, with an OTE of £59,312.00
  • Uncapped commission and a quarterly bonus based on performance against targets
