Role Overview

This position involves supporting the Central Accounts Management team with essential back-office functions related to tenders, profitability assessments, demand forecasting, and comprehensive business analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the monthly volume forecasting process.
  • Implement price indexation strategies.
  • Assist in all tender-related activities, particularly analyzing tenders to ensure the necessary information is available for CRM updates, coordinating regional price submissions, and creating impact analyses for CTC.
  • Support the execution of the 'Path to Profitable Growth' Tool and ensure regular updates, especially in alignment with tender activities.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the Contracts Database, ensuring that metadata is current and easily accessible.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support to account managers.
  • Calculate the projected volume forecast for the upcoming 24 months for central accounts and validate these figures with account managers.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure each customer has a clearly articulated account plan aimed at maximizing profitability.
  • Oversee the storage and accessibility of all relevant contracts for our central accounts, including the extraction of key information or metadata to facilitate efficient account management (e.g., indexation and payment terms).
  • Coordinate with regional tender managers to ensure that each customer’s Request for Quote (RFQ) is completed thoroughly and punctually, including any additional information needed for Requests for Information (RFI) and updates to the Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM).

Skills and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, particularly in Excel; proficiency in Power BI is a plus.
  • Six Sigma or project management training is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Must adhere to strict deadlines and demonstrate teamwork.
  • Familiarity with the corrugating and packaging industry is preferred.
