About the Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Specialist to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Behaviour Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs in managing their behaviour and improving their academic outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to support the SEMH needs of students.
  • Provide individual and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Collaborate with the school's leadership team to develop and implement behaviour management plans.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews to assess the effectiveness of behaviour management strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counselling, social work or related field is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques or willingness to learn.
  • It is desired (although not essential) that applicants have a qualification in Team Teach and experience in dealing with young people who have SEMH needs.
