Protocol Education is seeking a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will work with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) and provide support to help them manage their behaviour and improve their academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs in managing their behaviour and improving their academic outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to support the SEMH needs of students.
- Provide individual and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
- Assist in creating a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counselling, social work or related field is desirable but not essential.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques or willingness to learn.
