Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) in a school in Sandwell.
This role requires a candidate who can develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs in managing their behaviour and improving their academic outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEMH needs and knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques.
We offer a dedicated consultant, access to CPD courses, flexibility, and a refer a friend scheme.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs in managing their behaviour and improving their academic outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to support the SEMH needs of students.
- Provide individual and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counselling, social work or related field (desirable but not essential).
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques or willingness to learn.
- A dedicated consultant who understands the importance of finding the right role for you.
- Access to over 50 CPD courses of Diploma and Certificate level.
- Flexibility - whether you're wanting full or part time work, we can work around you.
- Refer a friend scheme: £50 to any candidate who refers an individual who begins working for Protocol.
