About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Be Caring. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in our community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care that respects and promotes the dignity of our service users.
  • Promote independence and enable individuals to make informed choices about their care.
  • Deliver personalized care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of each service user.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Support service users to achieve their outcomes and goals, involving them in decision-making processes.
  • Connect service users with local resources and services to enhance their quality of life.

Induction Training

We offer comprehensive induction training to ensure our Care Assistants have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their role. This includes training on:

  • Be Caring values and principles, including our commitment to delivering exceptional care and service.
  • Dignity and respect, safeguarding, and equality and diversity.
  • Confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Fluids and nutrition, safe administration of medication, and moving and positioning.
  • Basic life support, pressure sores prevention, and infection prevention and control.
  • Learning Disabilities, mental health, and capacity.
