Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to provide person-centred support to 12 service users with learning disabilities and complex needs in Wythenshawe.

About the Role: As a Relief Support Worker, you will work in a dynamic and inclusive environment, providing support to individuals with varying needs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and safety of our service users, promoting their independence and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to service users with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Support service users with their goals and aspirations, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to data protection and confidentiality policies.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a person-centred way, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of service users.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures and data protection policies.
