Role Summary

Strategic Account Executive – Purpose Driven Foods

Key Responsibilities:

As a Strategic Account Executive at Purpose Driven Foods, you will be instrumental in propelling our business expansion by forging and nurturing robust relationships with essential retail partners across grocery and out-of-home sectors. Your role will encompass the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives, management of key accounts, and optimization of sales prospects within the health food industry. This position requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a profound understanding of customer acquisition and a proven history of effective account management.

Account Management:

  • Establish and sustain strong connections with national and regional retail accounts.
  • Act as the primary liaison for key accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving challenges, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product innovation, to fulfill customer requirements and drive sales growth.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Formulate and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue objectives and enhance market share.
  • Evaluate market dynamics, competitor actions, and customer insights to uncover new business opportunities and areas for enhancement.
  • Remain updated on industry trends and developments to maintain a competitive advantage.

Negotiation and Partnership Management:

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with key accounts to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Oversee the profit and loss for customer accounts, including trade marketing expenditures.

Forecasting and Performance Reporting:

  • Create precise sales forecasts and regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and account activities.
  • Utilize category data analytics to develop compelling sales narratives and internal recommendations.

Training and Development:

  • Provide training and support to retail partners to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings and unique selling propositions.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to design promotional programs and materials that bolster sales initiatives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of experience in similar roles within fast-paced, results-oriented environments. We seek an Account Executive capable of crafting and executing sales strategies in collaboration with the Head of Sales across our three primary channels: Grocery, Out-of-Home, and E-commerce. This role is tailored for a proactive, ambitious salesperson dedicated to advancing our mission and ensuring our products reach stores nationwide. You will be responsible for cultivating and supporting a high-performing multi-channel sales team, with ambitious key performance indicators and a strong organizational culture.
