The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity to join the FBC UK team as a Process Operator. As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the biscuit production process. This will involve working closely with the production team to maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Check and verify production programs and oven profiles to ensure accurate recipe execution.
- Enter production programs into the computerized bulk feed system and refill hoppers as required.
- Prepare and add pre-mix batches to the production process.
- Verify that all guards are fitted correctly and ingredient hoppers are assembled and ready for use before downloading recipes.
- Monitor and rectify any faults with webs and tracking, reporting any issues to the production team.
- Set up, operate, and control the rotary moulder and baking oven, making adjustments as required to maintain standards and specifications.
- Set up, operate, and control the cream mixing equipment and creaming machine, including handling and use of ingredients.
- Set up, operate, and control the chocolate enrober and chocolate cooler, making adjustments as required to maintain standards and specifications.
- Monitor and maintain chocolate supply to meet demand within the factory.
- Regularly inspect products for any signs of deviation from standards and specifications.
- Verify and record color standards and control sheets to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working area and keep plant equipment clean.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Must be numerate and literate, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, people-focused team environment.
- Must be comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment where hygiene principles are essential.
