The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential. As a Mixing Room Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of biscuit production. Your key accountabilities will include:
- Operating the mixer to ensure accurate ingredient proportions and quality control checks.
- Preparing and adding chemical ingredients to the mix, following strict guidelines and safety protocols.
- Working with a variety of ingredients, including bulk materials and chemical mixtures, to ensure accurate quantities and quality.
- Collaborating with the production team to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a food manufacturing environment, adhering to strict hygiene principles and safety protocols.
- Full right to work in the UK, with no restrictions on working hours.
