Job Title: Senior Commercial Account Handler

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Account Handler to join our team at Acorn Insurance & Financial Services LTD. As a key member of our Retail Branch Network, you will play a vital role in driving our office's commercial success and supporting the leadership of our dynamic branch team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize CRM system (Salesforce) to maintain accurate customer data, outcomes, and diary entries.
  • Ensure data accuracy and submission to meet SLA turnarounds.
  • Qualify leads to next stages to meet agreed team KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication.
  • Provide feedback on industry comments and suggestions to improve customer engagement and new business sales.
  • Identify opportunities for corporate partnerships and support search connections to commercial industry individuals and events.
  • Attend internal and external meetings, including commercial industry meetings, roadshows, and exhibitions.
  • Collaborate with team members, including Projects, Branch Network, and Support functions.
  • Gather competitor insight and local broker network information to feedback to management.
  • Support Business Development Manager to maintain diary and new business prospects.
  • Ensure quality standards are met, and customer service is delivered.
  • Support the wider Group businesses, including Rapid/Just Drive and Ride hailing hubs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years insurance experience gained in UK markets.
  • Commercial Insurance experience (preferable).
  • Account/Portfolio management experience (preferable).
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and insurance agents.
  • Sales acumen to identify new business opportunities and convert leads into clients.
  • Analytical mindset to analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and client data.
  • Relationship building skills to foster strong relationships with clients, insurance agents, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills to quickly resolve client issues and find innovative solutions.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Product knowledge to provide accurate information and advice to clients.
  • Adaptability to adapt to changes in the insurance industry, client preferences, and market conditions.
