About the Role:

As an ATA MET Technician at Steer Electric, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the highest quality of workmanship in the automotive repair industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all necessary mechanical and body repairs on vehicles, adhering to manufacturer specifications and repair standards.
  • Dismantle vehicles in preparation for panel shop work, ensuring efficient and safe working practices.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and fault-finding to identify and repair issues.
  • Order replacement parts and ensure timely delivery to meet deadlines.
  • Reassemble vehicles with new parts to restore them to their pre-accident condition, maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience as an MET Technician, ideally in an accident repair environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • A keen eye for detail, with the ability to work precisely and safely under pressure, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Excellent planning skills to manage workload efficiently, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Ability to follow manufacturers' specifications and repair standards, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • A collaborative team player who can also take initiative and work independently, with a flexible approach to delivering high-quality results.
  • Adherence to health and safety protocols, including PPE use and maintaining a clean work environment.
