Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Main Responsibilities

As an Advanced Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering advanced clinical assessments and treatments to adult and paediatric patients
  • Creating and delivering bespoke training to less experienced therapists, students, support workers, and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Providing day-to-day management and clinical supervision to team members
  • Engaging in professional activities, including multidisciplinary team steering groups, working groups, and networking opportunities

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Masters-level degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent experience
  • Significant postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant field
  • Experience in delivering clinical education and supervision to staff and students
  • Good understanding of quality issues and audit processes
