Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our community service, providing input to patients with a range of conditions including progressive neurological diseases, stroke, and dementia.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced SLTs, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and primary care colleagues in an outpatient and community setting. You will be responsible for caseload management, delivering therapeutic interventions, and contributing to service development.

Person Specification
  • Contribution to clinical education of less experienced staff, assistants, or students
  • A commitment to CPD for self and others
  • Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapy (RCSLT)
  • Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience in leadership
  • Experience of pathway and protocol development

  • Excellent analytical skills and well-developed reflective practice
  • Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, including independent caseload management
